Responsible calling

The rules on every call

  1. Consent

Call people who have a reason to hear from you. The product should make you confirm that you have consent, or another lawful basis, for each list, and it should record that confirmation.

  2. Disclosure

Every call says early on that the caller is an AI agent and who it is calling for. Where recording or transcription has to be disclosed, it is. In practice the agent says it on every call.

  3. Calling hours

Calls only go out inside your call window and inside sensible local hours in the recipient's timezone.

  4. Do-not-call lists

Support each market's do-not-call registers and your own suppression list. An opt-out on any call takes effect immediately for your account.

  5. A person, when someone asks

A person can always be requested. Sensitive situations, including hardship, distress, and complaints, are handed over or flagged.

  6. Data care

Collect only what each job needs, keep a clear audit trail, and let clients delete their data.

Payment recovery, when it opens, keeps the same commitments: never threatening, always disclosed, and hardship goes to a person.

These rules are part of setup

You set the hours, the opt-out, and a way to reach a person when you set up the project.
